The Seminar witnessed an overwhelming response with the participation of more than 100
Referees and 30 officials from 29 States and 3 Union Territories. It was a glittering gathering of
the Referees and Officials for five days.
Day One – 22nd May, 2019 : Started with Registration of Referees and Distribution of Official Uniforms to all the participants.

Day Two – 23rd May, 2019 : The Opening Ceremony of the Seminar has taken place as usual in Indian traditional way by lighting a lamp by the Chief Guest Mr. Anand Mohan Sharan, IAS, Principal Secretary, Youth Affairs & Sports Deptt., Govt. of Haryana & Chairman, WAKO INDIA and our Special Invitees Mr. Brian William Beck, Chairman – Referee Committee – Tatami Sport, WAKO (IF), Mr. Yury Lakhtikov, Chairman – Referee Committee – Ring Sport, WAKO (IF), Mr. Santosh K. Agrawal, President,WAKO INDIA.
The Chief Guest, Special Invitees, President, WAKO INDIA and his team members were felicitated by Mr. Chander Mohan Sharma, President, Chandigarh Kickboxing Association and Vice President, WAKO INDIA. All of them were welcomed and greeted by him.
The august presence of our Chief Guest Mr. Anand Mohan Sharan, IAS along with our Special Invitees Mr. Yury Lakhtikov and Mr. Brian William Beck graced the opening ceremony and made the occasion a special and glittering one.
The presence of following WAKO INDIA Members during the opening ceremony added more colour to the Opening Ceremony:-

7. Mr. Ramanajayeyulu, Executive Member – WAKO India

The day two continued with Training Session both for Tatami and Ring Sport till the evening.

Day Three – 24th May, 2019 : The Theoretical and Practical Trainings for both the disciplines conducted by Mr. Yury and Mr. Brian Beck. Separate facilities were arranged for workshops and examinations.

Day Four – 25th May, 2019 : Written Examinations were conducted both for Tatami and Ring Sport disciplines to assess the technical competencies of all the referees attended the training.
Closing Ceremony and Award Ceremony were graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Smt. Garima Singh, IRS, Special Secretary – Finance Dept., Govt. of Punjab and President – Punjab Kickboxing Association. The qualified referees were awarded with appropriate certification on the basis of their results.
The President WAKO INDIA Mr. Santosh K. Agrawal congratulated all the participants and the organizers for making this 3rd WAKO International Kickboxing Referee Seminar 2019 a grand success.
The President has informed everyone present that WAKO INDIA has gained a considerable advantage through these Seminars and ensured a good presence of WAKO INDIA Referees at International Championships. He has also mentioned that it is a proud and significant achievement for all WAKO INDIANS and urged to enhance the current level of our Referee participation at International level. The fact is that prior to 2017 Referee Seminar, WAKO INDIA had a negligible presence of Referees at International level.
With the 3rd WAKO International Kickboxing Referee Seminar just concluded, WAKO INIDA has covered North, West and East regions and the fourth one shall be held in the Southern Region shortly.

Day Five – 26th May, 2019 : All the officials and participants departed to their home town.
